A family run equestrian centre set in the Burren Region, Co. Clare Ireland since 1996. 5* Livery facilities for your horse/pony. We offer Retirement Livery Packages to suit every individual client. Our facility set in 100 acres of rolling countryside and secluded wooded areas in the Burren Region of County Clare is the prefect location for your Horse/Pony to enjoy retirement within a small herd.
Our facilities include an Indoor Arena, two spacious Outdoor Show Jumping Arenas / Golden Ring and Platinum Arena as well as a large outdoor practice Arena / Premier Practice all constructed using the unique Fibre Fusion Surface by Equestrian Surfaces Ireland. Two fantastic colorful Grand Prix sets of fences by ProShowjumpsIreland. Official SJI (Show Jumping Ireland) events are held at the Centre regularly.
There are always many promising horses/ponies competing at the events. Some may be for sale.
Banner Equestrian Centre won National SJI Centre of the Year Award in 2013, 2018, 2019 and 2021.
Lessons for clients with their own horses/ponies can be booked and are held daily. Instruction is given by owners Noel, BHSAI, HIS Register of Coaches, SJI National Course Builder and Safety Steward, Simone BHSAI, HSI Register of Coaches, Therapeutic Coach, SJI Senior National Judge, SJI National Course Builder and Safety Steward, FEI Judge.
It is also possible to rent any Arena for your own training or to train with your own freelance instructor/coach. Ring us to book your appointment in your chosen Arena.
Contact us if you are interested in joining our fantastic livery yard. Well situated superb facilities only 6 miles from Ennis Town Centre in County Clare. Full, part and DIY livery available. Airy, bright, warm and dry stables with automatic water feeders and rubber matting in the passage way/aisle. The stables have a wash bay, secure tack and feed rooms and a large shavings/hay store. Changing room, toilet and shower facility available. Livery clients have free access to our Premier Practice and Indoor Arena. The Golden Ring and Platinum Arena with Grand Prix Standard Showjumps as well as the 4 Horse walker with rubber matting, can be hired by appointment. There is local hacking on quite country roads and across fields, offering some of the most picturesque views.

Our children Noelle and Kieren grew up at Banner Equestrian Centre in Ennis. Enjoing a childhood with horses, competing nationally and Noelle even internationally.
Strict time keeping measures must be obtained when competing or training. When entering into a competition, please be mindful of your time and the starters list as if you are late you will forfeit your opportunity to compete. It is the judges decision if you will be allowed to jump out of order, but this may mean that you will not be competing for SJI points or prizes.
There are a variety of warm up and cool down arenas located around our facility.
During an event each competition ring has a designated Arena available for warm up and cool down.
We kindly ask everyone visiting Banner Equestrian Centre to please respect all aspects of our facility. A huge amount of time and effort has been taken to ensure you have a great time with us. So, please be mindful that you maintain clean and tidy standards during your time with us. All horse dropping must be cleaned up and all rubbish must be disposed of into the correct bin.
Any breakages have to be reported and will incur a replacement fee.
We will not tolerate any kind of unsocial behaviour or bullying at our facilities.
Abusive behavour during our competitions towards all competitors, judges, stewards and customers alike will not be tolerated. For any objections during a SJI competition please follow the SJI Rules on the SJI website.
If you are running an event at our premises, you need to have your own insurance in place, and supply Banner Equestrian Centre with a copy of your policy. The facilities are used at your own risk, and you are responsible for your own safety and the safety of all other users on the day. Banner Equestrian Centre requires a copy of each individual competitors score sheet/offical SJI marking sheet for each competition held on the day. In the unlightly event of a very dry spell of weather and Arenas will have to be watered during your event an additional fee will have to be charged to cover drivers and fuel.
If you are giving or providing a lesson, You are obliged to have up-to-date insurance, First aid, Garda vetting and safeguarding certificates according with the HSI guidelines. It is your responsiblity to comply with the HSI coaching regulations while using our facility.
The arenas are used at your own risk, and you are responsible for your own safety and the safety of other users.

All persons training at Banner Equestrian Centre must complete a Registration Form and read the rider's code of conduct & risk advisory, before their ride commences. Please read it thoroughly. Each Adult (18yrs & over) must complete and sign their own form. An adult must complete and sign the form for a minor (under 18yrs). It is your responsibility to make sure you have the Registration Form filled and handed in.
By completing an entry/or training booking transaction, you are aware of the “Risk” involved in horse riding and the associated risks in handing an equine. You have made the participant you are in charge of /or entering, aware of the risks and you acknowledge and accept the risk involved. If you are in charge of minors you will ensure they are supervised at all times. You agree you will not hold Banner Equestrian Centre, its Proprietor or their agents, employees or any representative person responsible for any accident, damage, injury (including shock or distress) howsoever sustained.
